About the Community Funding Board

Made up of six members: Three from the Nimiq team & three community representatives. Project funding proposals will be granted if more than 50% of the board accept the funding proposal. The Board meets at least every 2 months and all its members are changed every 6 months through a voting system with the Nimiq Community.

Official communication channels

Users can write to the Nimiq Community Funding Board using the email: [email protected]. Information from received proposals and official decisions are made public using the Nimiq Community Board Trello. Official decisions are also summarized in the Nimiq Blog

@Richy When would be the next meeting? According to my math is already overdue

@beer42 We already had the meeting and have been in the process of reaching out to those who submitted proposals. The blog posts take a long time to come out after the meetings, not exactly sure why.

But rest assured, the meeting has occurred and all proposals received thus far have been looked at by the board. No new proposals have been submitted for the next meeting though, so feel free to get those creative juices flowing. You’ve got a good month to put together proposals and demos for us to review!
