Nimiq Team "What We've Been Doing" follow up comments

I wanted to follow up with a comment to the Team’s request for ideas. This is in response to the latest Blog post update from the Team regarding the Future of Nimiq:

The good news is that the team appears devoted to supporting $NIM. My most basic feedback ideas are:

  1. Find a way, that benefits and supports the price of $NIM, to provide in-wallet stablecoin staking with an APR equal or higher than current money market rates or CEXs rates.
  2. If it makes sense make $NIM the L1 vehicle for all sorts of on-chain or off-chain solutions like the aforementioned AI, Real-World Assets (RWA), DeFi, and Interoperability, in a way that benefits and supports the price of $NIM.

  1. To paraphrase a point made on twitter, a successful cryptocurrency is one that is available everywhere. If nimiq wants to remain " The World’s Most Accepted Crypto", it needs to push hard on getting it accepted everywhere. This should remain central to nimiq’s mission; only pursue other avenues insofar as they bolster this core tenet.

  2. Take advantage of the community! There were so many places to find nimiq people: here, reddit, discord, telegram, twitter, etc. Apart from twitter, they’re all dead. I used to use all of these sites but now I only visit here every now and again. There were a lot of people interested in this project and they have all seemingly lost interest. Around the time of the release of Albatross, you guys had 80k+ followers on twitter. Now you’re only at 56k. That is a colossal blunder!
    Anyone that’s still here must be a believer so take advantage of them! For example, set up a competition to design an infographic or a meme and give out nim as prizes. You did similar things years ago. Keep going! For a while all you’ve done is trading campaigns… Sure, they boost liquidity but diehard supporters want to hodl their nim, not trade it away#

Good luck to the team!! I’m excited to see what you are planning. Just be warned: it has been such a long wait to see what comes next so you better have a foolproof plan or people will invariably be disappointed.

New, new, new… New POS, new Albatross, better, higher, further because of superior tech, significant advantages, easy browser first integration, etc.

Suggestions for nimiq team. I love the whole idea of nimiq pay it’s great. But as for nimiq wallet, there needs to be a mobile application wallet where you can stake too also that would be nice. I personally stumbled upon this crypto project and I love it so I will be buying some but I hate how I have to use a browser wallet for nimiq. If you had a mobile wallet how the browser wallet works that be great I use rewards apps for food and all I never go to my browser on phone unless looking up something on google that’s it. I feel this is how the average consumer is. I also sell phones for a living so I know they either don’t download apps or download apps. Most use just browser like me to google stuff that’s it. Also suggestion for this either nimiq pay and nimiq wallet seperate or all in one app. I have also seen on other projects where you can use private key you store or an email for signing up this would also be a nice touch the average person looking into crypto new to it with just email signup and login feature would make it easier for them to get started. Other then that great job nimiq team keep it up.
