WebRTC has been used by the Nimiq Network in the past. Adding it again as a network transport (through a libp2p-rust contribution the team can test and help with) lets browsers connect directly to each other. It is a network-layer change only, needs no hardfork, and strengthens Nimiq’s web-native, censorship-resistant character.
