Contrary to the perception that Nimiq has not engaged with professional marketing agencies in and beyond the crypto space, the project does have well-established partnerships with three external agencies, each with different areas of specialization. Together, we have conducted several test campaigns to analyze how different messages perform across various channels. Through this work, we have learned that the key success factor in public communication is not simply the channel or execution, but the strength and value of the underlying message and its call to action itself.
In collaboration with our agency partners, we explored and tested multiple positioning strategies. However, we concluded that none of the narratives tested so far generated the level of impact necessary to significantly increase Nimiq’s visibility and public awareness.
As a result, our shared focus is now on building and releasing functional, innovative, and user-friendly products, especially building on the strong technical foundation established with the launch of Proof of Stake last year. The goal is to develop products that are designed to offer tangible value, attract attention through genuine innovation, and are capable of engaging crypto-native audiences and getting them meaningfully connected with Nimiq and the NIM coin.
