Does Nimiq use Proof-of-Stake (PoS) or Proof-of-Work (PoW)?

Nimiq currently uses a Proof-of-Work Algorithm (PoW) relying on Argon2d and will move to a new Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus named Albatross later in 2020 with Nimiq 2.0.
