1. Project Description

XcrowHub is a zero-fee protected escrow Mini App built for Nimiq Pay. It allows users to do safe P2P deals for freelance work, digital products, design handoffs, code/scripts, paid communities, and direct client transactions.

Key Features:

  • Private deals using secure shareable links
  • Marketplace with listings and bidding system
  • In-app chat between buyer and seller
  • Proof-based dispute resolution with human review
  • Zero platform fees seller receives the full amount

Problem it solves:
Anonymous P2P crypto deals are risky. One side often gets scammed after payment or delivery. XcrowHub fixes this by holding funds in escrow until delivery is confirmed.

2. Project Goal

To drive real adoption of Nimiq Pay by bringing 2000+ active users who will create deals, use the wallet, and engage with the ecosystem within 30 days.

XcrowHub positions Nimiq Pay as a practical tool for everyday P2P commerce.

3. Budget Request ($1000)

  • $450 – KOL activations and targeted community campaigns
  • $250 – Referral contest and user bounties
  • $120 – Server costs ($40/month for 3 months)
  • $20 – Domain renewal for 1 year
  • $110 – Content creation and promotional materials
  • $50 – Tools and operational expenses

Total: $1000

4. Timeline

  • Week 1-2: Launch marketing campaigns and referral contest
  • Week 3-4: Drive user acquisition and engagement
  • End of Month: Deliver 1000+ active users with usage reports

5. Referral System

Every user gets a unique referral link and code.

  • Anyone who signs up through your link is permanently credited to you.
  • You earn 10% of the platform fee on every marketplace sale your referrals make forever.

This creates strong viral growth and passive earning for users.

6. Proof of Capability

I run Authidex, a platform with over 1000 active creators and KOLs. I have already tested the core product with initial users and will open public testing soon.

7. Compliance

This proposal fully complies with the Nimiq Community Council Legal & Ethical Guideline Framework. XcrowHub uses transparent rules for dispute resolution and does not hold user funds beyond the escrow period.

Thank you for submitting your funding proposal and for your work on XcrowHub.

The Nimiq Community Council does not provide separate funding to Mini Apps while they are actively participating in the Nimiq Mini Apps Competition.

The competition awards prize money to the winning projects: 10,000 USDT for first place, 5,000 USDT for second place, and 2,000 USDT for third place. While not every participating project receives a prize, all Mini Apps must compete under the same conditions. Providing additional Community Council funding to an active participant would create an unfair advantage over the other projects.

For this reason, marketing campaigns, referral rewards, user acquisition, server costs, promotional materials, and other expenses during the competition must be financed by the founder or through other funding sources.

This decision applies equally to all participating Mini Apps and is not an assessment of the quality or potential of XcrowHub.

Once all three competition cycles have concluded, a project that did not receive a competition prize may submit a new funding proposal to the Nimiq Community Council. Any new proposal will then be reviewed independently based on demonstrated adoption, usage, value to the Nimiq ecosystem, budget, and compliance with the Council’s guidelines.

The current proposal is therefore not eligible for approval while XcrowHub remains an active participant in the Mini Apps Competition.
