Improvement in CPlink

I logged there after a few years, and it seems the system keeps the logs of payments. Even very old ones.

At that point, why don’t allow the creation of an inventory too ?
So the merchant doesn’t have to formulate and enter the payment details manually each time, but he chooses:

Coffee 1.50€
Pizza 8.00€
whatever 4.00€

From the list of his own creation.
Yes, technically the inventory/list would remain hosted on the Nimiq servers, but I don’t get the drawbacks. It is supposed to facilitate commerce, by listing goods/services that are publicly available in commerce. And I don’t see any privacy problem (if that is the case), as the inventory could be created to be vague and in a way that only the merchant understands.
Basically the inventory would speed up operations, massively.

PS: Usdt would be cool if supported too.

As cryptopaymentlink states ‘receive payments without middlemen’ one might think that in some cases a middleman is necessary. If two people/parties don’t know each other, they can’t trust each other.

If someone is selling a product and must send his/her goods, there are -perhaps- three options: Prepayment, cash on delivery, purchase on account. Comfortably the middleman, like Amazon or Airbnb, ensures settlement. Ratings of goods and vendors shall cause trust in quality and delivery.

One niche of goods are online services, like consulting. Someone might get only an appointment if he/she pays in advance or the organization of an online training issues an invoice.

But can’t there be a tool which combines prepayment and payment on delivery?

The customer wants e. g. an online consultation. He/she pays NIM/BTC to an address of a smart contract(?!). The advisor assigns a date. Beforehand, both parties could cancel the appointment and/or the customer the payment. But if the meeting happens, the transaction will be approved (perhaps five minutes after starting the conversation).

This could become a great tool for freelancers: People could offer 1:1 consultation, teaching, or gaming etc. Both parties wouldn’t be forced to disclose their private data. It is just two people and a date of payment, the transaction is locked until the online service is conducted.

Would such a tool already be possible with Nimiq?
