Blockly is a client-side JavaScript library for block-based visual programming languages (VPLs) and editors. It’s being used by young programers around the world to develop games. Also recently there was a tweet from Nimiq about some kids trying out Nimiq for the first time, and how the activity was fun. There are also two young developers that form part of the Nimiq community with notable achievements, namely Ricard (developer of the GPU miner and Trust Wallet integration and now a member of the Nimiq team) and Smitop (developer of Ninitools, Member of the Community Founding Board and strong contender for reelection). So it would make sense to create a set of Nimiq blocks for Blockly so that more young developers have the opportunity to “play” with Nimiq from even earlier ages than those where kids that like programing would normally start with things like modding games and other related activities.
