Register your pool or validator by October 6th, stay active for 100 epochs post-migration and follow the rules to receive rewards as a token of appreciation for supporting the Nimiq migration to Proof of Stake:
- Staking Pools: 2.5M NIM per pool
- Validators: 500k NIM per validator

Rules to Participate:
- Register before October 6th.
- Stay active for 100 epochs post-migration.
- Become elected in at least 35 epochs and actively produce blocks.
- Must never be jailed.
- Must not be inactive for more than 3 epochs (short inactivity of 1-3 epochs is allowed).
- Rewards are capped at the first 50 registrations.
- Team members, US citizens or residents, and individuals from OFAC-sanctioned countries cannot participate.
- Fill in the Register for Special Rewards for Validator and Pool Operators and join the Validator-Chat Channel on Nimiq’s Discord
Rules for Staking Pools
- It pays out rewards to all its stakers on a regular basis
- It’s publicly known and registered in the Nimiq Wallet
- Required to participate in the migration as active validator
We reserve the right to contact users to verify they comply with all the necessary criteria for participation.
Reward Delivery:
Rewards will be manually delivered by Team Nimiq up to 3 months after the migration concludes.

Important Note for Upcoming Staking Pools
To have your staking pool logo, name, and website visible in the wallet immediately after the migration, please contact us on Telegram or Discord. This will allow us to include all your pool details in the validator overview directly within the wallet. Otherwise, only your NQ address will be displayed.
