Nimiq x BabyDoge x PAWS event proposal

Greetings, a community member from Nimiq Philippines Community (NimiqPH) sent me a proposal for community outreach with crypto community BabyDoge and Philippine Animal Welfare Society or PAWS. We are looking for us to sponsor this event at minimum while exposing Nimiq brand in real world.

1. Project Description

  • What is it? The project is a landmark fundraising event and multimedia campaign named “Homeless Not Worthless,” organized in partnership with the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and BabyDoge Philippines to celebrate International Homeless Animal Day.
  • What problem does it solve? It addresses the severe crisis of pet homelessness in the Philippines, where an estimated 13.11 million stray dogs (aspins) live on the streets and are highly vulnerable to abuse, hunger, and untreated medical conditions.
  • Who is it for? The initiative serves homeless animals, adoptive families, and the wider community by promoting education, accessible care, and responsible pet ownership.

2. Project Goal

Please note: The provided documents do not contain any information regarding the Nimiq ecosystem. The following goals reflect the project’s impact on its own target community:

  • Drive adoption, awareness, or engagement: The multimedia campaign utilizes emotional storytelling, influencer partnerships, and educational content to transform public perception and demonstrate that every stray dog is worth saving.
  • Introduce new use cases/improve existing ones: The event features a unique “Play for Vaccines” pillar, which is an immersive, gamified experience where attendees play interactive games (like basketball or claw machines) to trigger sponsor-funded vaccine donations.
  • How it benefits the community: It empowers the public to actively contribute to animal welfare through accessible entertainment, while simultaneously providing direct medical care, spay/neuter procedures, and shelter support for the animals.

3. Budget Request

Please note: The documents outline tiered sponsorship packages rather than a single total grant request.

  • Total amount requested / Detailed Allocation: Partners can choose from the following specific sponsorship tiers:
  • Legacy Partner (Tier 3): Php 100,000 CASH + 25 Premium Gift Packs.
  • Pet Advocate (Tier 2): Php 75,000 CASH + 25 Premium Gift Packs.
  • Community Champion (Tier 1): Php 50,000 CASH + 20 Premium Gift Packs.
  • Onsite Booth: Php 30,000 CASH + 20 Premium Gift Packs.
  • Justification for expenses:
  • Tier 1 sponsorships directly provide medical care for over 50 rescued animals.
  • Tier 2 sponsorships fund spay/neuter procedures for over 100 community animals.
  • Tier 3 sponsorships support one full month of shelter operations and rehabilitation programs.

Note from me: the Tier 1 could get our logo shown in Community and Champion Sponsor billing, Quarter Screen, 30 second TVC ad played 10 times, 1 post each in FB stories and IG stories, brand exposure in Live FB video, brand inclusion in pre-event and post-event releases.
