Hello Everyone,
According to the recent blog post members are supposed to nominate one another for a position in the Nimiq Community Council. As far as I can tell, it seems like no one else has made a nomination.
Therefore, I feel compelled to throw my hat into the ring.
I can’t remember when I joined this community; my Nimiq forum account says I’ve been here for over five years. In all that time I haven’t really contributed anything of particular note to the community. That said, I have ran a validator, so I’m not applying to this role totally empty-handed.
My conviction for Nimiq has not wavered over these last few years. I’m not technically gifted nor am I social media savvy so I’ve never felt like I could contribute to the community. I am a bit of a normie in that regard. I feel like this is the best possible opportunity for someone like me to build Nimiq’s future.
Naturally, there are people far more qualified than myself. That said, no one else seems to have made a nomination so I can only assume they’re all busy. By comparison, I am readily available and enthusiastic.
My only stipulation is that I would like to remain anonymous, at least publicly.
