Nimiq Squad 2021
The Nimiq Squad is for members of the Nimiq Community that are active on at least Twitter and YouTube. Other social platforms will be included too. Twitter and YouTube are mandatory if you want to be part of the Nimiq Squad.
The goal of the Nimiq Squad is to comment, share and like tweets, videos, and mentions to make some noise for Nimiq. For example, don’t just reply with “Nimiq to the moon”, but better give useful info that you already know of Nimiq to get other people excited.
Members are carefully selected and continuously evaluated on the basis of their contributions that positively impact the reach and image of Nimiq. Each member of the Nimiq Squad will receive a small token of appreciation per month. Members can level up their monthly reward based on activity and skills.
Rewards
The ranks and associated monthly basic rewards are as follows:
- Team Leader: $150 in NIM
- Assistant Team Leader: $80 in NIM
- Specialist: $40 in NIM
- Promoter: $20 in NIM
- Nimion: $10 in NIM
- Newbie: a Nimiq cap if you become a Nimion

Extra Rewards
The best comment will be rewarded each month with $100 in NIM. The 4 most active members will be rewarded: 1st $100 in NIM, 2nd a Ledger Nano S, 3rd Nimiq Hoodie and 4th a Nimiq T-Shirt (your choice from shop.nimiq.com).
We also want to reward loyalty: if you keep working with the Nimiq Squad for three month, you’ll get a Nimiq T-Shirt (your choice from shop.nimiq.com), if you are with us for six month, you’ll get a Nimiq hoodie!
Tasks and responsibilities
@BlockchainShay is the President of the Nimiq Squad and responsible for coordinating between ranks and managing the effort, creating policies, advising and supervising. At the same time, he will also comment with Nimiq related info, retweet and like.
Newbies : Welcome! You have just been proven worthy for the Nimiq Squad. Your task is to comment, like and share every post that is shared in this group. The comment should contain information about Nimiq’s functionalities or abilities - please follow our tonality guide! We do this to get more people involved in Nimiq and to spread the message. If you are active and your contributions are of good quality during your trial period of two week, you have the chance to be promoted to Nimion.
Nimion : As you have proven your love for Nimiq and like to promote, you will start receiving a monthly reward. If you stay active with at least ten contributions per week, you can become a Promoter.
Promoter : You become a promoter when you know what your task is. You are active and an example for all Nimions and Newbies. We expect about 20 contributions per week.
Specialist : A specialist is someone that is good in his task to comment with Nimiq related info, retweet and like on YouTube Videos and Tweets. Specialists can give tips and tricks to Promoters, Nimions and Newbies. From this rank you can grow your way up to Assistant Team Leader. We expect about 20 contributions per week.
Assistant Team Leader : Assistant Team Leader supports the Team Leader with searching posts on both Twitter and YouTube that are worth shilling Nimiq on with the Nimiq Squad and coordinate what they have found with their Team Leader. They also communicate obstacles and other useful information with the Team Leader. The task to comment with Nimiq related info, retweet and like on YouTube Videos and Tweets is also included in this role. From this rank you can grow your way up to Team Leader. We expect around 30 contributions per week
Team Leader : As a team leader you have the leading role in the team process. You direct, remove obstacles and search for posts on both Twitter and YouTube that are worth shilling Nimiq on with the Nimiq Squad. All in all, quite a job. The task to comment with Nimiq related info, retweet and like on YouTube Videos and Twitter Posts is also included in this role. We expect at around 30 contributions per week.
Nimiq VIP: These are people that are directly involved with Nimiq, for example local community managers, Community funding board members, or members of Team Nimiq.
Don’t try to cheat the points-system, this will results in an instant ban. Links to tweets to reply on will only exist for 24h, after that it will dissapear. Your points will stay in your account. If you Click without replying more than a couple times it will result in a ban. We can monitor everything.
We’re all in this together, our promotion and outreach efforts will count as one and we will share the benefits. To the moon!
