Which chain each asset actually lives on, BTC or wBTC-on-Nimiq, which stablecoin on which chain, is deliberately left undecided for now. The priority is to get the functionality in place, even if some utilities run outside the Nimiq blockchain at first, and then converge onto Nimiq as the Protocol Roadmap’s token work lands.
