NimiqEarn Quest

NimiqEarn Quest
AI-Powered Telegram Task & Bounty Marketplace for the Nimiq Ecosystem

Hello Nimiq Community Council,

I’m submitting NimiqEarn Quest, a Telegram-native task and bounty marketplace designed to drive real utility, wallet activity, and repeat NIM transactions across the Nimiq ecosystem.

The idea is simple: users complete quests inside Telegram and receive instant NIM rewards, while startups, DAOs, creators, and communities use the platform to publish paid tasks, campaigns, and contribution-based bounties.

A supporting product concept document is available here:
GitHub Repository: NimiqEarn Quest
Prototype Document: NimiqEarn Quest Product Concept

  1. Project Description
    What is NimiqEarn Quest?

NimiqEarn Quest is a Telegram-native microtask and bounty marketplace built around a simple reward loop:

discover tasks, submit proof, get verified, receive NIM

It is designed to make NIM useful in a practical, recurring way by turning Telegram into a lightweight earning and participation channel.

The MVP combines:

  • Telegram bot infrastructure
  • Nimiq wallet onboarding
  • Instant NIM payouts
  • AI-assisted task verification
  • Reputation and anti-spam controls
  • Creator task publishing and management flow

Problem

There are two major gaps this project addresses.

First, many users want access to simple online earning opportunities, but existing platforms are often:

  • too complex for mobile-first users
  • slow with payouts
  • dependent on banking systems
  • difficult to access in emerging markets
  • not designed for lightweight community-driven work

Second, Web3 projects and digital communities need better tools to:

  • grow and activate users
  • run bounty programs
  • test products quickly
  • reward community participation
  • recruit contributors
  • execute structured engagement campaigns

NimiqEarn Quest addresses both sides by combining community incentives and instant crypto payouts in a Telegram-first experience.

Target Users

Workers

Hey @David thanks for your proposal!
Can you tell us a bit more about how would the “submit proof, get verified (AI assisted)” part work?

Hello Paul,
Thanks for the question. We also have a verification architecture doc that explains the full flow in more detail:

In short, the “submit proof, get verified (AI assisted)” flow works as a layered pipeline:

  • The user submits the required proof for the campaign, such as a transaction hash, wallet interaction, screenshot, social link/post, referral activity, text feedback, or uploaded media.
  • The system first runs deterministic checks to validate objective conditions. For example, it can confirm that a transaction exists, a post is public and matches the campaign rules, a referral event actually happened, or required fields are present.
  • If the submission passes those checks, the AI-assisted layer reviews it for quality and abuse signals. This include OCR and image analysis for screenshots, duplicate or manipulated content detection, spam filtering, NLP checks for text responses, and behavior analysis to catch farming or Sybil activity.
  • The system then assigns a confidence score:
    • high confidence submissions can be auto-approved
    • medium confidence cases can go to lightweight human review
    • suspicious or low-confidence cases can be manually moderated or rejected

Contributor reputation also plays a role over time, so trusted users can get faster approvals while risky or new accounts may face stricter checks.

The goal is to keep verification scalable and fast while protecting payout integrity and reducing spam, fake engagement, and reward farming.

Thank you @David, sorry for having missed that page!

Hello David,

Thank you for submitting the NimiqEarn Quest proposal.

After reviewing it, we find the concept compelling and appreciate the effort that has gone into preparing a serious, well-structured, and detailed proposal. The milestones and deliverables are clearly defined, and we believe the project has the potential to bring meaningful utility and transaction activity to the Nimiq ecosystem.

We’re pleased to say the Community Council is approving your proposal.

To facilitate the milestone-based funding process, we would simply like to be able to follow the project’s development as it progresses. Having visibility into the codebase and development work would allow us to confirm the completion of milestones and release subsequent funding payments with confidence. Please confirm that we would be able to follow all this on the public Github repo.

In addition, we would appreciate regular updates being posted here in this forum thread so that the community can follow the project’s evolution and stay informed of progress.

Finally could you provide us the Nimiq address where you would want to receive the funding and let us know if you want a particular date to receive the first payment or if it should be as soon as possible.

We look forward to your response and are excited about seeing NimiqEarn Quest come to life.

Thank you @David for this very detailed first update!

Hey @David
Can we get another Update? How is everything going?

Hello Nimiq Community
Here is the latest progress update for NimiqEarn Quest.

First, apologies for the silence. We put our heads down to build and didn’t want to post until we had a massive leap in progress to share.

I am very excited to announce that Milestone 1 (Core MVP Infrastructure) is officially complete, and we have seamlessly transitioned deep into Milestone 2 (Marketplace & Payments)

The product has evolved significantly since the Week 1 update. We decided to go far beyond a simple text-based bot and have built full Telegram Mini Apps for both Workers and Creators.

Our landing page is also officially LIVE! Check it out here: https://www.nimiqearn.com

Our X account is live NimiqEarn Quest (@NimiqEarn) / X - Kindly give us a follow, we will be posting and sharing updates.

Milestone 1 Completed: Wallet Integration & Quest Creation

We’ve finalized the foundation promised in Milestone 1, but we upgraded the UX drastically:

  • Wallet Onboarding & Security: Users can now securely link their Nimiq wallets. We implemented real wallet ownership verification, built native signing support via the Nimiq Pay Mini App SDK (with a browser fallback), and added secure-action passwords + CAPTCHA gates to protect the ecosystem from bots.
  • Web Landing Page Live: As mentioned above, our professional, glassmorphic marketing landing page is fully deployed at nimiqearn.com with legal and FAQ documentation.
  • Sentry & Observability: Sentry error monitoring is now fully integrated across the API, Bot, and Web to catch any issues in real-time.

Milestone 2 Progress: Marketplace, Studio, & Instant Payouts

Instead of stopping at M1, we pushed forward and built the core engine of Milestone 2:

1. The Creator Studio (Mini App)
Instead of a clunky text wizard, Creators now use a highly polished, tabbed Creator Studio Telegram Mini App.

  • Features: Create quests, schedule deadlines, manage budgets, track analytics with time-series data, and fund quests directly from a secure custodial balance.
  • We also added support for “Promoted Quests”, platform fees, and dynamic OG-card thumbnails for shared quests.

2. The “Browse & Earn” Marketplace (Mini App)
Workers don’t need to leave Telegram to find work.

  • They can open the Browse & Earn Mini App directly from the bot.
  • It features paginated quest discovery, category filter chips, and personalized feeds (it automatically hides quests a worker has already completed).

3. Submissions & Instant NIM Payouts
The reward loop is officially live!

  • Instant Payouts: When a worker submits proof for an auto-verified quest, they receive an instant NIM payout directly to their custodial wallet.
  • Notifications: Workers get an instant Telegram notification with a NimiqWatch link to verify their transaction.
  • Earnings Dashboard: Workers have a “My Earnings” view to track submission history and total NIM earned.

Demo & Next Steps

Test the Bot Live: https://t.me/NimiqEarnBot

If you want to view the source code or run the full stack locally yourself, check out our setup documentation on GitHub.

We are currently wrapping up the final touches of Milestone 2 (Payouts and Deterministic Verification) and will soon be moving into Milestone 3 — which brings AI-assisted verification, reputation scoring, and the public beta launch!

Thank you all for your patience and support. Let me know if you have any questions or feedback!

Hey there David!
Awesome news and progress!
The project is really taking shape!

May I ask you what this Collab.land / nimbottybot bot is? The Nimiqearn website links to it.

I’ve also tried to open the Creator Hub that tells me “Invalid or missing Telegram authentification”

Hey Paul! Thanks for checking it out so quickly

@Nimbottybot was simply a leftover test bot from local development. The website environment variables accidentally still had its link.

That old token was also what caused your authentication error! Our backend API had a mismatched bot token, so the security check was failing when it tried to verify your session.

I’ve just updated the backend API token and the website links, so everything is running smoothly now. You can test the real, fully functional bot directly here: https://t.me/NimiqEarnBot

Let me know if you run into anything else
